Plains Of Eidolon, the first open world map introduced to free-to-play looter-shooter Warframe, is getting a remaster. A new update is now live on PC and will be coming to consoles soon.
The remaster changes the lighting of the plains to be less orange this time around, and a more subtle day and night cycle transition. Trees and foliage are also improved as well as various technical detail behind the scenes, which should make the gameplay experience run smoother than ever.
Alongside that, conservation (i.e. hunting), which was first introduced in the Fortuna update, will now also be available on the Plains Of Eidolon. This also means more floofs to track down and capture.
More bird variants, including a new one called Mergoo, new giant enemies called the Tusk Thumper and a new melee weapon, a set of pneumatic grips and toecaps called Korrudo, are also added in this update.
The Plains Of Eidolon can easily be accessed by any player, so be sure to give it a visit and see the new remastered open world map.
