Warframe’s answer to Battle Passes, the free Battle Pass-ish that is the Nightwave series, has ended its first run. While details for Series 2 have already been shared, there was a problem now that there is downtime in between the series- there’s no way to access some of the Nightwave offerings.
For context, Nightwave replaced the regular Alert missions that will appear randomly. These missions have specific rewards, including a resource called Nitain that’s exclusively found on Alert missions. Alert missions are now a rarity, and all of the item drops are now available as Nightwave offerings which you can buy with special currency gained by completing the weekly and daily challenges.
With Nightwave: Intermission, this should give players access to the offerings again. The Intermission comes with 15 ranks of rewards which are:
- 100 Nora Creds
- 2000 Endo
- Robotic Slots
- 3 Orokin Cells
- Gamma Color Picker
- 50 Nora Creds
- 10K Kuva
- Rift Sigil
- 3 Forma Bundle
- Orokin Reactor
- 50 Nora Creds
- 10,000 Kuva
- Orokin Catalyst
- Aura Forma
- Eidolon Ephemera
All of the changes to Nightwave as outlined before bar the new challenges will be implemented in the intermission.
Nightwave Series 2 is expected to drop before TennoCon 2019 happens on July 6th. Though with the intermission, players won’t have to wait long to get on the weekly and daily challenge routines and rewards gathering loop again. And stock up on Nitains.
The Nightwave: Intermission will start sometime next week on PS4, PC, Xbox One and Switch.
