Siege Camp, the developers of persistent, massive war MMO Foxhole, is taking to the skies with the upcoming Airborne update.
This update will be bringing air combat into the top-down logistics-focused multiplayer game, on top of the existing land and sea combat.
Aircraft available ranges from fighters to bombers. Paratroops can be deployed now that planes are in the game, allowing them to air dropo behind enemy lines to potentially cripple supply chains and sabotage equipment.
Foxhole’s logistics game is also expanded due to the addition of aircraft. Now players can produce aircraft, prep and rearm them for airborne assaults. More ways to contribute to the in-game war effort without being on the front lines shooting people.
Foxhole’s Airborne update will arrive in summer (Q3) 2025, so a long way to go. But players can expect a big update to drop on November 18. The Infantry update overhauls infantry combat which includes the addition of “suppression mechanics, weapon shouldering and a stamina overhaul”.
Foxhole is now available on PC (Steam).
