It keeps tumbling down in the Embracer Group side as they have announced the closure of Volition Studios, the creators of the Saints Rows and Red Faction series, effective today.
After being tossed around since the end of the first THQ era and went under the wings of Deep Silver (and their parent company, Embracer), Volition have made bunch of games, one of which is the recent Saints Row reboot that was released to a lukewarm reception but it’s seem that their time has come to a sudden end with this announcement.
We wish those effected by this massive layoff, well on their future endeavors.
