Valorant Pacific Open Tournament Announced For Southeast Asia

Riot Games has announced the first tournament for its new tactical FPS Valorant for Southeast Asia. The Valorant Pacific Open will see the top 10 teams from Southeast Asia (Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore) plus Taiwan and Hong Kong, compete for a prize pool of $20,000 USD.

Riot partnered with Cyber Games Arena, leading esports organisers in Hong Kong and Taiwan for the Valorant Pacific Open. It’s also part of the Valorant Ignition Series- the first batch of esports tournaments for the game, held in various regions across the globe with official support from Riot, run by local organisers.

The Valorant Pacific Open is an online tournament and will begin its qualifiers on July 3. Any team can join the preliminary rounds. Registration is now open until July 1, though we can’t find where exactly the registration link is at the time of writing.

Winners from the qualifiers will then make their way to the Valorant Pacific Open Finals to be held sometime in mid-August.
