Ubisoft’s New Sports Game Roller Champions Getting A Closed Alpha For PC, Here’s Where To Sign Up

Ubisoft may have tendencies to make very familiar open-world games, but sometimes they make big bets in weird games. Like Roller Champions.

Revealed at E3 2019, it’s sort of like roller derby, but the similarity to that only comes from the teams move around an arena with rollerblades. It had a playable online test right after the reveal.

If you’re looking to try it again on PC, Ubisoft is running a Closed Alpha Test for Roller Champions from March 11th to 23rd.

The Closed Alpha will include a new arena, Chichen Itza, more moves like an extended tackle, air tackle, grapple boost, grapple double jump, and grapple double pump.  The new moves are shown off in the above trailer.

Characters can be customisable too this time, with 70 cosmetic items.

You can sign-up for the Closed Alpha here.

Roller Champions is set to release this year on PS4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and even on mobile.
