TrackMania 2 Lagoon Has Been Released on Steam and Uplay

Nadeo and Ubisoft has released TrackMania 2: Lagoon today on Steam and uPlay. The latest editon of their TrackMania 2 series (which initially released in 2011!), “has players racing on raised tracks above a tropical island filled with insane activities”, according to their Steam page.

The tracks are based on the Lagoon Rollercoaster maps from TrackMania Turbo (which is also a pretty good game). The gameplay is as same as it’s previous iteration: You race the clock in various type of tracks to win medals. It also comes with a Trackmania multiplayer channel, an exclusive solo campaign, a new game mode and user-generated content thanks to an upgrade to their Maniaplanet online system.

And if anyone who thinks that Ubisoft stole ideas from Forza Horizon 3: Hot Wheels Expansion, do mind that the original map on Turbo was released early last year. So yeah…
