Kejora, a time loop puzzler published by Soft Source and developed by Berangin Creative now has a release date.
Young girl Kejora and her friends have to save their peaceful village from a mysterious, eldritch being in this time loop puzzle adventure.
First announced in 2021, Kejora has underwent some changes to the gameplay, finally settling into a narrative puzzle adventure by 2023.
What remained consistent of Kejora is the Studio Ghibli-inspired hand drawn visuals with a little of that Southeast Asian flair. It’s a spooky game, but the way kids has the expressions of a goofy cartoon which should balance out the presences of eldritch horrors.
The trailer shows the hook of Kejora, how her and her friends (who behaves as party members with abilities like giving her a boost or push objects). The trailer and the release date reveal debuted at the Six One Indie showcase.
Kejora launches on PC (Steam) on September 4 and a release on PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch planned. A demo is available on Steam.
