Ubisoft announced that Julian Gerighty has been appointed as Executive Producer for The Division Brand, and alongside that, confirmed the existence of The Division 3.
Gerighty was Associate Creative Director for The Division and later Creative Director for The Division 2. So a familiar face will spearhead the series.
Currently, he is Creative Director on Massive Entertainment’s other new game, Star Wars Outlaws.
The Division 3 will be developed by Massive. There are other The Division games in the works, including the mobile game The Division Resurgence and the free-to-play shooter The Division Heartland. But hearing that a proper sequel to the post-pandemic looter-shooter RPG with cover mechanics should have fans excited of a more recognisable future for the series.
