Year 3 of The Crew Motorfest is now live with the start of Season 8, available now.
Season 8 adds the Street Riders Playlist. As teased before, this playlist has Motorfest goers go underground and indulge in a little bit of off-the-books (illegal, unsanctioned by the Motorfest) races. One such race is a checkpoint race where you’re free to take your own route there, in the style of Midtown Madness or Midnight Club. The other new playlist, BMW M, will drop later on January 7, 2026.
The Season also adds the iconic BMW M3 E46 (2000), a car that should be familiar to racing game enthusiasts of the 2000s. It’s the base model of the BMW M3 GTR as featured prominently in Need For Speed Most Wanted (2005). The Mercedes-AMG GT (2023) is also added, with more coming later in the season. There will be 21 new vehicles in total added to The Crew Motorfest as part of Season 8, and here’s some of the confirmed cars coming:
- November 5th
- BMW M3 E46 (2000)
- Mercedes-AMG GT (2023)
- December 3rd
- Pagani Imola (2021)
- January 7th
- BMW M Hybrid V8 (2025)
- Volkswagen Golf GTI 1800 (MK1)
- February 2nd
- Ford Shelby GR-1 Concept (2004)
- Year 3 Pass Exclusive Early Access
- Ferrari 12 Cilindri (2025)
- Zenvo Aurora Agil (2026)
- Year 3 Pass Owners who also owned either Year 1 or Year 2 Pass
- Cadillac Ciel Concept (2011)
Season 8 also brings The Crew Motorfest’s car customisation options to standard with the addition of branded (licensed) wheels/rims. There are 40 of them, including the likes of BBS, HRE and OZ Racing. No Rays/Volk Racing yet, so there’s no TE37s for the import tuner fans. But the branded wheels available here, featuring size and material customisation, are a good start. A car’s stance can now be adjusted as well, so you can slam them down and camber the wheels to obscene levels or make the wheel fitment tight should you wish.
Fans of the Grand Race multiplayer feature will be glad to know there’s now a progression track with unlocks, so your time playing the endurance race across Hawaii in all manner of vehicles will now be rewarded.
In addition, The Crew Motorfest on PC is now Steam Deck Verified, and there is now a Friend Pass where you can invite up to three friends to play for free (and that’s completely free with no time limits and no content restrictions) as long as they stay in The Crew. That’s one way to get people to party up and use the feature the game series is named for. A generous offer, at that.
The Crew Motorfest is out now on PS4, PS5, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store) and Xbox Series X|S. Check out our review of the game here.
