Who doesn’t like cars crashing into each other, ask most of the Malaysian motorists that slow down to catch a glimpse of roadside crash.
But what if you can intentionally crash cars without the worry of insurance, your own life and the ire of other motorists? That’s what Demolition Derby in video games can offer and it’s coming as a free update to The Crew 2.
Now, the idea sounds cool, but it seems odd that The Crew 2 is getting it. In this game, a high-speed car crash will just cuts into a transition screen and the car immediately respawn. And its damage model is not that robust.
So to see a new discipline for Demolition Derby is very surprising.
Here’s the teaser trailer:
Demolition Derby will arrive on December 5th. This is the second live game update that added a new discipline, free to everyone. The first one was Gator Rush which added hovercrafts.
The Crew 2 is out now on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
