After a quiet August for Ubisoft’s open world racer, the arrival of Gamescom sees Ivory Tower dropping a trailer for the first free expansion for The Crew 2, Gator Rush.
This expansion will see Hovercrafts having their own discipline and will see players traversing across water and land in the events. Along with five new vehicles, two of them (an Ariel Nomad Rally Raid and XK Armored) are part of the season pass and will be playable on launch day for holders while the rest would have to wait a week to get it.
The other announcement were the addition of Ace difficulty for those wanting more challenge and it unlocks after you completed an event on both Normal and Hard. This also comes with the addition of Legendary lootdrops as a reward for completing an Ace event.
Hopefully this expansion brings life into the game after a slow month. The update will release on September 26 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
