Beat ’em ups! The quarter munchers in arcades of years past are now ported to modern consoles and soon, PC. Capcom first announced the Capcom Beat ‘Em Up Bundle in September’s Nintendo Direct. Now it is available globally on PS4, Xbox One and Switch. Over in Asia, it’s called the Capcom Belt Action Collection.
Despite the name change, they will feature the same games. The seven games are classic Capcom beat ’em ups from the arcades which includes:
- Final Fight
- The King Of Dragons
- Captain Commando
- Knights Of The Round
- Warriors Of Fate
- Armored Warriors
- Battle Circuit
The last two game never appeared in a home console until now, this is their first release.
All the seven games feature local and online play as well a gallery of artwork to peruse. The Switch version also support the use of one Joy-Con (so you can have two players with one pair) and local co-op up to four Switches. There’s also some good quality-of-life additions too as you can set the difficulty, number of lives and other settings to your tastes.
The Belt Action Collection also allows you to play in Japanese too.
