During the final week of August, we were invited to join in the spectacle that is AniManGaki, one of the biggest local Anime, Comic, and Game convention scenes (besides Comic Fiesta), right here in Selangor. And while our on-side escapade was recorded on our Dia.log podcast (which you can give listen to soon), we had some stuff to do as well.
We had the privilege of being in a media interview with streaming star and Vtuber Emirichu. With 3 million on Youtube and almost 100k subs on Twitch, we asked a few questions that felt quite familiar to our readers.
Since traveling to Malaysia, we asked her if she does any gaming while traveling abroad. “Well, I used to! But nowadays, I don’t really play any games while traveling from my home, but I do usually bring my Switch in case I feel like having a short round or two.”
And since on the topic of video games, we asked THE very important question: PC or Console?
“Oh, definitely PC! I do have some consoles like the Switch and Playstation but for ease of access, I would usually go for PC for anything really! Sometimes, I switch it up but PC all the way.”
But for someone who has a huge following on two of the biggest platforms on the internet, how does one go about their schedule?
She goes, “Well, my schedule usually is 6 hours of editing and drawing my various arts for Youtube. Usually, for two weeks straight, I would work on my stuff, ask help from my art friends to see if it’s good, and then send it.”
And of course, before the end of the big interview, one of the interviewees had one more interesting question to ask. Who is Emerichu’s favorite V-Tuber? “Oh, that’s a toughie. Maybe Kureji Ollie and Ironmouse are my faves to watch right now!”
You can follow Emirichu on her YouTube, Twitch channels, and Twitter as well. Thanks to AniManGaki for the opportunity!
