Zeku, the ever-changing ninja, is the last character for Season 2 of Street Fighter V. Zeku is the teacher of Guy, first seen Street Fighter Alpha 2.
Announced at Southeast Asia Majors, part of Gamestart Asia, Zeku has the ability to switch between two forms- his default form is a slow but hard hitting character while his younger self makes him play more like Guy.
The gimmick of two forms with varying playstyle is an interesting one, giving more options for more versatile players that can control the tempo of a match.
Zeku will be playable in Street Fighter V on October 24. He will also be available, alongside all the DLC characters from Season 1 & 2 in [...]
Let’s be honest: Street Fighter V’s launch was a miserable one. It felt too barebones- even the online was not barely functioning. But over time, it has gotten better: there’s more characters and stages, but it still has a lot of underlying issues that stops more casual players to play, unless it is packaged as a new release.
But Capcom promised that Street Fighter V will just be one platform with continuous updates. They wanted to stop the need to release new games just to add a few new characters, features and balance changes – a common practice in fighting games which splits up the fanbase.
And so, Capcom just announced Street Fighter V Arcade [...]
Season 2 of Street Fighter V is promising all new characters never seen playable in the series to debut (except for Akuma). So far we got an interesting selection, from the gargantuan Abigail to the character with no motion moves Ed.
The latest one, revealed at the E-Sports Festival Hong Kong Street Fighter V tournament, is a little bit more pleasing to the eye.
As prior leaks suggest, the next character is Menat, a fortune teller first seen in Ed’s story mode. The nimble character utilises various crystal balls as a projectile and more importantly, to control space. She sure looks fun to play as if you really know what you’re doing.
As FV Cup 2017 draws near, the organisers are starting to reveal the international pro players that will join in the premier fighting game tournament in Malaysia.
Street Fighter V will be seeing many big names competing with the local folks, FV Cup is part of the Capcom Pro Tour as a Ranking Event. First to be revealed is none other than Infiltration. The EVO 2016 champion might be having a quiet season so far this year, but never count the Korean out just yet. He was known in the Street Fighter IV days as a multi-character specialist- mastering various characters at a high level.
Expect to see the Razer-sponsored player bringing his A-game (and maybe Monster energy [...]
The Malaysian Fighting Game Community (MyFGC) has been gaining momentum as of late with more events happening this year. But that doesn’t mean they can’t go out to compete. Five different game tournaments were held which includes Street Fighter V (part of the Capcom Pro Tour as a Ranking event), Tekken 7 (part of the Tekken World Tour as a challenger event), King Of Fighters XIV, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and BlazBlue: Central Fiction.
Our Malaysian players competed mostly in Street [...]
Grapplers are an interesting fighting game character archetype. Instead of needing fast hands for long strings of combos, they rely on slow but hard hitting moves that requires good anticipation and opponent reading.
Street Fighter V could use more of there to join the likes of Zangief. So the next DLC character they brought in Abigail. First seen in the Final Fight series, this it the first time the character is playable in Street Fighter. Not only is he huge, he has some good command throws and armoured moves.
Check out the trailer below:
Abigail is out on July 25 and like the rest of the new DLC that is Akuma, Kolin and Ed, these characters are included in [...]
