Survival-crafting game Nightingale, by developer Inflexion Games, is out now in Early Access on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).
Nightingale is set in a Victorian gaslamp world where people have invented a way to traverse the Faewilds, via portals. As the world has collapsed, you are one of the Realmwalkers that have found refuge in the Faewilds, and are seeking your to find the titular city of Nightingale.
Nightingale has all the things you expect from a survival game. Co-op play (with up to five players in a group). Base building with a robust blueprint system and promotes logical placements of crafting stations. Plenty of materials to gather using different tools, and a long, long list of things to craft.
“We are thrilled to introduce Nightingale, a groundbreaking PVE survival-crafting game designed to captivate players with its unique approach. Committed to continuous improvement, we pledge to enhance the gaming experience through live service updates. As a community-first studio, we value player feedback and eagerly collaborate to foster an engaging and vibrant community. Join us as we unveil the Realms and invite players to embark on thrilling adventures within Nightingale,” shared Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Inflexion Games.
Inflexion Games is a studio with talents that previously worked at Bioware, and from our first impressions, we found that its worldbuilding hooks are pretty good. Though it can still feel a bit rough, and that’s where the community comes in to offer feedback.
