Here’s a surprise. Nintendo Switch exclusive mecha action game Daemon X Machina is coming to PC via Steam next week. Now more players can play what is essentially Armored Core, created by a developer team headed by Armored Core veterans including producer Kenichiro Tsukuda and mechanical concept design by Shoji Kawamori.
Daemon X Machina debuted on Nintendo’s E3 2018 Direct, with a lot of marketing handling by them outside of Japan. So it’s a surprise to see XSEED Games to announce a PC release out of nowhere, with a release date so soon.
The PC release will be the same game you’d expect from the Switch release, now with visual upgrades (including 60fps). Though some licensed DLC may not make it to the transition. Otherwise, all the post-launch updates including character customisation, the Arsenal mech customisation, Colossal Immortal battles, and the co-op Exploration Mission mode will be included.
Daemon X Machina will be out on PC via Steam onFebruary 13th (February 14th for Malaysia) for RM95. Like most games on Steam, there’s a 20% early-bird discount, dropping the price to RM76.
