Though many games incorporate extinct dinosaurs, very few strive to depict them as animals like park-tycoon-game Prehistoric Kingdom.
The game is about more than dinosaurs, with the Kickstarter page and even the game’s logo depicting various extinct mammals and reptiles, too.
While the game aims to be released on both Mac and PC, a playable pre-Alpha demo is available on Steam for those interested in the basic mechanics of building enclosures and caring for animals.
Playable dinosaurs in the demo are Tyrannosaurus Rex, Velociraptor, Gallimimus and Triceratops .

Developed by indie dev Shadow Raven Studios, this kickstarter game puts you in charge of your own park full of extinct animals to attract guests
The developers are targeting a 2018 release date, and are planning to release the game on Steam’s Early Access when they deem it an appropriate level of completion.
Unlike the Jurassic Park movies, however, Prehistoric Kingdom sells itself on up-to-date research on dinosaurs, with feathered species donning their plumage.
The team hopes to raise USD55,000 by January 6th to fund their game.
