Superhot, the genius first-person shooter where time moves when you move, was supposed to get a DLC. That DLC, Mind Control Delete, went on development for three years and is now a standalone title.
Superhot Mind Control Delete, the third entry to the Superhot series after Superhot and Superhot VR, is a bigger game, with more mechanics to play around and more polished than their previous titles.
While this is a standalone new game, the Superhot Team is giving away Superhot Mind Control Delete to owners of the Superhot game, free.
2 million people who own the original game can expect to see Superhot Mind Control Delete pop in their game library that includes PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, itch.io, Origin, Windows Store), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
The catch is it must be a purchase- free giveaways like the one from Epic Games Store, or from subscription services like Xbox Game Pass don’t count.
If you buy Superhot now before Superhot Mind Control Delete releases on July 16 for PS4, PC, Xbox One and Switch, you’ll get Mind Control Delete for free. More info on this can be found on the official FAQ page.
