Severed Steel, the stylish FPS where you jump, dive, slide, kick and shoot people as the one-armed protagonist Steel, now has a release date.
The FPS combines a bunch of movement abilities, bullet time, a no-reload-for-guns mechanic (due to Steel’s disability) and destructible environments into one flurry ballet of fun. The game is inspired by the likes of Black, Mirror’s Edge, F.E.A.R., and Half-Life mod ‘The Specialists”.
Severed Steel’s demo on PC is still available, now with an added campaign level, tweaked movement mechanics and other changes based on player feedback from a closed beta test.
Severed Steel will be coming to PC (Steam) first on September 17. It will also be coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch later this year.
