Stardust: Wish Of Witch Is A Card-Based Strategy RPG With Cards And Combos, Out Now

Indie developer Kniv Studio just launched their new game: Stardust: Wish Of Witch. It’s an isometric SRPG— that’s strategy RPG. Some may also refer it as a tactical RPG, or a strategy tactics.

While the presentation has the vibes of a Disgaea game, Stardust: Wish Of Witch also incorporates cards in its turn-based combat, which is more similar to the underrated Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Stardust’s card-based abilities let you stack a combo of hits together, with a combo counter to boot.

On the presentation, Stardust has an isometric perspective, with 2D sprites for the most part. The special abilities however has enough frames of each character’s animated rendition pulling of their signature strike with cinematic anime flair. The trailer features Korean voice acting.

Stardust: Wish Of Witch centers around the adventures of tomboyish warrior Star and the mage Yu. The duo will meet more companions along the way as their party “draw closer to the truth hidden within the stars.”

Stardust: Wish Of Witch is out now on PC (Steam).
