Steam Reveals Its Top 100 Best Selling Games Of 2018

Steam has revealed the top 100 best selling games on its distribution platform in 2018. While no numbers were given, the list is broken down into various tiers just like in 2017. As ever, it’s interesting to see how big some PC-centric games are selling as well as the usual AAA releases.

In the top Platinum Tier, Civilization VI, The Elder Scrolls Online and the free-to-play shooter Warframe stands together with Ubisoft’s new releases (Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Far Cry 5) and Ubisoft’s old game from 205, Rainbow Six Siege.

Gamer Malaya and Gamer Matters’ GOTY 2018, Monster Hunter: World, sits on that top spot too with other multiplayer games like Rocket League, CS:GO and Dota 2.

In the Gold Tier, there is an abundant of RPGs (Divinity Original Sin II, Kingdom Come Deliverance, The Witcher III, Path Of Exile, Assassin’s Creed Origins) and strategy games (Stellaris, Cities Skylines, Total War Warhammer II, Jurassic World Evolution). Multiplayer games Dead By Daylight and Ark: Survival Evolved rounds of the list.

You can check out the rest of the list in full here. The Steam Winter Sale is still ongoing until January 4th so if you fancy any on the list, you can grab some of them on the cheap.
