As we start the new year, it’s nice to look at the past. Steam has released a list of games that sold the most on its platform.
The list in the top selling games includes all forms of sales done around the game- game sales, DLC sales and micro-transactions are all counted to form the list.
The games are listed in the various tiers: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Platinum is reserved for the top 12 titles, Gold for 13th-24th, Silver is 25th-40th and Bronze makes up the 41st-1000th, in no particular order within the tiers.
For the best selling games, here are the top 12 that reached Platinum:
- Ghost Recon Wildlands
- ARK: Survival Evolved
- H1Z1
- CS:GO
- Rocket Leauge
- Dota 2
- PUBG
- Rainbow Six: Siege
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hint
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Warframe
- Divinity Original Sin II
