Spyro Reignited Trilogy Officially Announced

Jump, glider and hover once more

Huzzah! After months of rumours and teasing, it is finally revealed that Spyro The Dragon, the other PS1 mascot platformer is getting a similar treatment to Crash Bandicoot- a remaster of the original three games.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is a remaster of Spyro The Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Spyro: Year Of The Dragon by Toys For Bob, the last developer to make a game with the name Spyro attached-Skylanders: Spyro’s adventurre. Yes, that now-dormant toys-to-life game started at the back of the purple dragon’s name.

But Spyro will look more closer to the original trilogy look than the one in Skylanders, however. A bit more cuter in a more livelier environment, and also from what we can hear, a new voice.

Also, the Twitter account previously known as Falcon McBob with the @SpyroTheDragon handle is now an official account for the game.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will be out on the PS4 and Xbox One in September 21, 2018.
