SINoALICE Is Yoko Taro’s Twisted Take On Popular Fairy Tales As A Mobile RPG, Available Globally Next Month

Yoko Taro is famed for his work on the Nier and Drakengard series. And also his… eccentricities. But he also was the creative director for a mobile game made by Square Enix and Pokelabo.

SINoALICE is Yoko Taro’s twisted take on popular fairy tales, like Cinderella, Snow White, Pinocchio, Wonderland’s Alice. Twisted, as in, there are cryptic verses all over the game’s website. And the story is about “a cruel tale of girls who must kill to live”.

Just typical Yoko Taro stuff. But then again, killing is typical in an RPG, which this game is.

SINoALICE was released in Japan in 2017 and is now finally ready for a worldwide release under publisher Nexon. Pre-registration for the iOS and Android version is available now on the game’s website. All countries outside of Japan, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau are applicable.

SINoALICE will be out globally sometime in June 2019.
