Sifu, last year’s big indie hit by developers Sloclap and publisher Kepler Interactive, has sold more than 2 million sales globally.
The kung-fu beat-’em-up action game sold more than a million copies in its first three weeks.
Sifu, along with Ebb Software’s Scorn, launched during the first year of Kepler Interactive as a global publisher. 2022 saw Kepler raking in more than $50 million USD in revenue, which the publisher says is “reaffirming the rationale for building a collective business model that harnesses the creativity and independence of its member studios”.
Kepler Interactive also announce a slew of new investments and partnerships. One of the most interesting ones is video game fund Kowloon Nights, which now operates a new division within Kepler.
Sifu is out now on PS4, PS5 and PC via Epic Games Store, and will be heading to Steam and Xbox platforms on March 28
