Send Good Vibes To Strangers In Kind Words (lo fi chill beats to write to), Out Now
Here’s a wholesome and positive. Kind Words (lo fi chill beats to write to) is a game about sending and receiving nice letters to other, real, people.
You sit in a cozy room, the background music is set to lo-fi beats (of course) and a cute deer is your mailman.
You receive these short, anonymous messages and you can reply them back with kind words. You can also be on the receiving end of this exchange, sending a request and wait for a stranger to reply back. The only communication after that one request and reply is for the original sender to send a sticker as a thank you gesture.
On paper, it sounds great. It’s a place to open up a bit of yourself (while still remaining anonymous), and a place to help out others even if it’s just a sentence or two.
Though it’s not all hands-off. One of the two-person indie developer Popcannibal is actively monitoring the messages to weed out trolls, ensure the messages stick to the what the game is intended to be and offer help for those that are in need of mental help.
Kind Words first launched on PC via Humble Bundle. But it is out now on Steam for RM12.50. If you are in need of something uplifting in your life, or want to help out and share some of the good vibes to fellow strangers, do check it out.
