Sega Europe Set To Acquire Angry Birds Dev Rovio

Back in April, Sega, specifically Sega Europe, announced that they are acquiring Finnish mobile devs Rovio, the creator of Angry Birds and its various sequels and spin-offs.

Today, Rovio confirms that the deal is set to close on August 17, after getting approval of regulatory bodies.

Sega Europe will be acquiring 96.3% of shares, and will place Rovio under Sega.
