Episode 2 of the Night City Wire has shared a few bits of details for CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. And this one is for a feature we knew about but only being spoken of before: lifepaths.
When creating your V, the player character for the open-world first-person RPG, you will pick either one of three lifepaths: Street Kid, Nomad or Corpo. Like we heard before, this is essentially a selectable origin story ala Dragon Age Origins, and will also affect your interactions in the game later on.
This new trailer gives a glimpse on how different it will be.
Street Kid begins within Night City, already familiar with the city, the gangs and have connections with people, including the fixer Padre.
Nomad begins outside of Night City in the badlands, roaming with your tight-knit community, or family, before events lead you into entering Night City.
Corpos begin with V already in the high-rise of the corporate life, being part of the Arasaka Corporation, before things broke down for the worse.

The second episode of the Night City Wire also shared a behind-the-scenes look at how the punk rock bad Refused is making their performance for the in-game band Samurai, as well as a first-look at the arsenal of weapons you can use.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on November 19 for the PS4, PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG), Xbox One. It’s also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X as free next-gen upgrades, and Stadia.
