Sedap! A Culinary Adventure, the co-op cookout game by Singapore indie devs Kopiforge, is releasing on Nintendo Switch in Asia.
This will be done by Japan-based Neos Corporation under the IndieTech Games publisher label, the second game to be released under them.
The Switch version will also available in physical form as well as digital coming to the Nintendo e-Shop.

Not only that, Sedap! on Switch also has four bonus recipes to cook based on dishes from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong, one from each country presumably. The physical copy includes special physical goodies including an “original recipe book”, special sleeve, plus a code to download the soundtrack.
Sedap! A Culinary Adventure is a “cooking-combat” game where two characters set out on an adventure on Khaya Island. A culinary one, as it involves cooking Southeast Asian dishes in an effort to fill out the Makanomicon.
(“Makan” is the Malay word for “eat” while the word “sedap” in the title translates to “delicious.” And yes, the game is localised entirely in Malay alongside Indonesian, Filipino, Korean, Traditional and Simplified Chinese and Japanese)
The game is entirely split-screen as one character cooks the dishes while the other go forage for ingredients and fight creatures. Ideally, it’s a local co-op game, and a less hectic cooking game unlike Overcooked! due to the distribution of tasks, but no one is stopping you from playing it like it’s Adventures Of Cookie & Cream, controlling two characters at once.
Sedap! is one the cool games we saw at Indie Jam 2025, the annual event for game jams and showcase of indie games made in Southeast Asia.
Also, Sedap! is the rare video game to use a diagonal split-screen, last popularly used in the console port for The Sims and The Sims Bustin’ Out.
Sedap! A Culinary Adventure is out now on PC (Steam). It will arrive on Switch on October 23.
