Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game Is Coming Back Later This Year

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game is a pretty great 2D beat-’em-up that’s unfortunately more remembered as a case study of the dangers of digital-only game distribution.

The original release was 10 years ago, to coincide the movie based on Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic series. It was then delisted due to licensing issues, and with only being a digital-only release on PS3 and Xbox 360, there was no way of purchasing it any more.

At the second Ubisoft Forward stream of 2020, Ubisoft revealed that Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game is coming back.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition see up to four players battle through pixel art Montreal and defeat the League Of Ramona’s Evil Exes. It’s a decent beat-’em-up and it has a slapper of chiptune soundtrack by Anamanaguchi.

This Complete Edition includes two playable DLC characters: Knives Chau and Wallace Wells.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition will be out later this year on the PS4, PC, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Stadia.
