Sam Barlow, the creator of the FMV investigation thriller Her Story, has a new game coming up. And this time it’s closer to Her Story rather than the experimental WarGames revival he worked on after that.
Telling Lies is about you having access to a laptop filled with an NSA database of stolen footage. The footage spans over two years of four people that, through the power of using the right search terms, will reveal a story you will piece together as your own truth. So it’s Her Story, but more characters, played by more famous names.
First revealed at The PC Gaming Show at E3, publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced that it will be out on August 23rd. It will be available on PC (Steam), and iOS.
