Developer and publisher of the console edition for the sandbox survival game Rust, Double Eleven, has announced a release date.
Rust will put you and up to 100 other players on a post-apocalyptic island, and you will have to find a way to survive. Find food and water, make your own clothing (or go naked should you choose to), interact with other players for help (or don’t, you don’t know if they can be trusted). There are no rules in Rust, and players can run free with however they intend to interact with the world and its other players.
The original PC release, by Facepunch Studios, is a streaming sensation and is still has an active player base.
Rust Console Edition, for the PS4 and Xbox One, will have a physical edition, created in partnership with Koch Media.
Pre-orders for Rust Console Edition is also available, including PS Store Asia. Rust Console Edition launches on June 1.
