Megaloot, the roguelike RPG with sweet, sweet loot now has online co-op.
Up to four players can now engage in the dungeon crawler with a heavy emphasis in loot and gear management. Previously, players solo crawl through dungeons, relying on a single party member. Online co-op lets you and fellow players to create new strategies and builds to gain more loot together.
This is part of the Megaloot Mega Update which inlcudes the following changes:
- Online co-op
- Detailed Battle Log
- Each character now has Specilizations for unique builds and play styles
- Equippable Spell Books (replaces Spells)
- New Items
- New Status Effects
- Special Chests spawns during Trials
- Item merging scales exponentially
- Expanded gear limits
Developed by solo developer axilirate and published by Instinct3 and Ravenage Games, Megaloot has sold over 160,000 copies since its launch back in August. The game continues to be worked on, with more content, polish and optimisations already in the works.
Megaloot is out now on PC (Steam).
