The new ROG Zephyrus G15 is the successor to the ROG Zephyrus G GA502 from last year. The 2020 refresh gives the slim gaming laptop a new streamlined name and some fresh new innards.
The big upgrade here is the new AMD Ryzen CPU, now using the Ryzen Mobile 4000 Series. Specifically, the AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS. The Renoir-based chips are not only faster- but this particular one, with the HS designation- is the more power-efficient version of the regular H CPUs, which is for gaming, and more powerful than the CPUs that ends with U- for ultrabooks.
The chassis is thinner than 20mm, and decent enough specs. Perfect for those who do some gaming but also like classy ultrabooks.

ASUS Malaysia has revealed that the ROG Zephyrus G15 is out now. It may not be as headline-grabbing as the Zephyrus G14 (that one is coming to Malaysia in June), but this still looks like a good refresh of ROG’s solid slim gaming laptop line.
