ROG Ally Heading To Malaysia This July, Cheaper Than Current Listings Suggest

There’s definitely hype and interest in the ROG Ally, ASUS ROG’s handheld gaming PC (and answer to the Steam Deck).

But with online dealers already listing grey imports for the Ally with scalper pricing, ROG Malaysia, over on its Facebook page, has set the record straight on its availability, and teased a bit on its price.

For one, the ROG Ally is now indeed heading to Malaysia but in July, a month after the worldwide release.

Despite that, the Facebook post also teased about the price. “Get ready to be surprised- in a good way!” it reads. The post takes a jab on listings by online dealers importing the Ally.

The listings we spotted so far listed the ROG Ally to be around RM4,599 to RM6,599- that’s gaming laptop money. The official MSRP for the ROG Ally in USD starts at $699 (roughly RM3,128).

So it’s best to wait for official announcements and maybe not place your pre-orders and overpay by buying off scalpers.

At least now we know that the ROG Ally will officially arrive here, as expected.
