After four years in Early Access, made-in-Malaysia indie rhythm game Rhythm Doctor will be releasing its full version later this year.
Rhythm Doctor will also launch on Xbox Series X|S.
The full 1.0 version will feature the final act for the story mode, audio descriptions for Night-Shift levels so that it’s accessible for visually-impaired players and various bug fixes.
If you’re not in the know, Rhythm Doctor is developed by 7th Beat Games and the whole game is about pressing one button the 7th beat.
Seems easy, but it’s a test of one’s inner metronome, the ability to hold a sense of rhythm, as the visual and audio of each level are designed to throw you off the beat in the devious ways possible.
The release announcement trailer perfectly showcase Rhythm Doctor’s unique gameplay. It’s a full gameplay that demonstrates what to expect.
“The easiest game you’ve ever played” it taunts. We learned it the hard way all the way back in 2017 when it was showed off at a local con, Comic Fiesta.
The story is about defibrillating people so that’s the Doctor part from the title comes from.
Rhythm Doctor releases in full on December 6 for the Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
