Like A Dragon fans, there will be news. Sega has announced the date and time for the next RGG Summit, the yearly livestream event detailing what’s coming up from developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the team behind the Like A Dragon series.
RGG Summit 2024 goes live on September 20, 6PM Malaysia Time (+8 GMT). The livestream will be in Japanese but with simultaneus intrepertation in English availalble, so fans that don’t speak Japanese can also tune in and follow along.
At the current time, Sega and RGG Studio has yet to reveal any upcoming games from the Like A Dragon series (or the Judgment series). After a huge wave of LAD releases spanning late 2023 to early 2024 with Like A Dragon: Ishin, Like A Dragon Gaiden and then Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth, it’s understandable. But surely the team is already cooking up something.
More recently, RGG Studio has announced the results of the Minato Ward Girls casting call, which will see the winners be featured in an upcoming Like A Dragon game. Maybe we will find out about that game, and possibly more, in the upcoming event.
