Resident Evil 2 Sails Past 3 Million Copies Sold

All of this within 3 days!

Capcom has done it again.

They have announced that RE2 Remake has sold over 3 million copies sold within the first week of sales. A feat they bested over with their previous title, Resident Evil 7, which had sold 2.5 million copies in the first week as well.

But the numbers don’t stop there, the PS1 original had only sold 4.96 million copies before the release of RE3. That means, the remake will overtake the original in sales within the end of the 1st month of sales.

But that’s not all, the game will receive a free DLC next month which looks to flesh out the story from a “what if” perspective.

Resident Evil 2 Remake is now out for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
