PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) is finally heading to PS4. The game that sparked the battle royale game mode/genre to centre stage last year started as a PC game in Early Access. As the game reached version 1.0 on PC last November, it launched on Xbox One through the Xbox Preview Program where the game was released in a really, really rough state.
Xbox One had the limited-time console exclusive deal and now it seems the deal is done as the game is launching on PS4. Pre-orders for the digital editions are now live, including Playstation Store Asia, with the standard edition starting at RM111.
Pre-orders will include some PS-exclusive cosmetics, an attire set based on Uncharted’s Nathan Drake and a bagpack of Ellie from The Last Of Us.
The Xbox One version of PUBG had a really rough start, maybe worse than expected, but has since been regularly updated. For those pining for chicken dinners but only have a PS4 and not willing to play the free mobile version, then your prayers have finally been answered.
PUBG for PS4 will arrive on December 7th.
