A new DLC pack has dropped for Project Motor Racing, and it’s free. The Aussie Rivals Pack DLC adds two new cars (well, technically one), both being V8 monsters that raced in Australia. One Holden and one Ford. Ask any Australian V8 Supercars fan, or just car fans from down under, and they’ll likely have a preference for one brand over the other.
While the 2013 Holden Commodore VF is entirely new to Project Motor Racing, the 2013 Ford Falcon FG is actually a reworked car that was included before as a free update. The previous 2013 Ford Falcon V8 as it was listed has been replaced by this new Ford Falcon instead.
We previously noted that the previous inclusion of just that one Ford meant that it was a class of one, with no rivals and a very boring grid of just the same cars. Well, now it has a very intense rivalry, as it should, so it’s all good. Though it would be nice to complete the collection of 2013 V8 Supercars by having the Nissan Altima and Mercedes E63 AMG as well.
Though as expected now with Project Motor Racing, these cars don’t come with any of the iconic liveries these cars are associated with.

Project Motor Racing Update 2.1 Now Available
Alongside the small (but appreciated) free DLC, Project Motor Racing is now updated to version 2.1. Update 2.1 is mostly about physics overhauls for the GT3 and GT4 classes of cars, as well as improvements to online racing, “immersive features” (VR and triple-screen support is improved), visual overhauls and more.
