Porsche has unveiled the Porsche Vision Gran Turismo, its first concept car designed exclusively for use in a video game. The car will be playable in the upcoming Gran Turismo 7.
Vision Gran Turismo is an ongoing program where developers Polyphony Digital invites real car manufacturers around the world to design the ideal sports car, free of any constraints or limitations imposed in the real world. Porsche is one of many famous car marques that have accepted the invitation.
The Porsche Vision Gran Turismo is the Stuggart-based car manufacturer’s vision of a future racing car. It retains the DNA that makes a Porsche- the four-dot headlights and backlight are as seen in a Porsche Taycan. And like the Taycan and future cars from the marque, it is all-electric.
It also has a low seating position, no doors (the entire window piece can be opened to get inside) and a hologram for its tachometer.
The Porsche Vision Gran Turismo will be one of many Porsches that you can drive in Gran Turismo 7 when it launches on March 4, 2022 for the PS4 and PS5.
