PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Finally Leaves Early Access

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds,(PUBG), the most talked about and popular game of the year, is finally out for real. The game was first released in Early Access in March.

Despite its rough state, the game caught on: the idea of 100 people scattered around an island with the last man standing wins was so appealing. It blew up on Twitch, surpassed Dota 2 as the record holder for the most concurrent players on Steam, sold more than 10 million copies, and has dabbled with esports. All while still being a janky, Early Access title.

PUBG has now received its 1.0 update. The update comes with a new vaulting mechanic, a new desert map, some tweaks to the UI, death cams and more. You can read the patch notes here. The price of the game remains as is, at RM74.99.

By the time you read this, the servers should now be online after a long maintenance to prepare for version 1.0. So go on now and get that chicken dinner.
