Play Football Manager 27 Free Ahead Of Launch

Here’s an interesting change in tactics. Football Manager 27 will have a Launch Preview version players can play ahead of its official release. Something like last year’s Beta/Advanced Access. But instead of it being a perk for purchasing the game early, it’s free for everyone.

From October 29 to November 3, play Football Manager 27 Launch Preview for free on Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store on PC and Mac platforms. If you have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscription, it’s also available through there too.

The save from FM27 Launch Preview can be carried over to the full game and the paid Launch Preview. You can also carry over saves from FM24 and FM26 (remember: there was no FM25).

This is now essentially a free weekend to FM27, ahead of its launch.

That said, those who pre-order the game won’t lose access to the Launch Preview build when it ends on November 3. Advanced Access is still a pre-order perk, so you can keep playing ahead of FM27’s official kick-off on November 10.

The caveat here is that the Launch Preview version will include “information that is still under approval process by right holders and may contain data that does not, at this time, accurately reflect real world data.” So some players and clubs are not added to the database just yet.

Football Manager 27 is another yearly new game from Sports Interactive, but the first to follow-up from the game-changing Football Manager 26. This year’s football management sim is making big improvements to its new user interface, big improvements to the match engine, more enhancements to training and touchline through the introduction of Tactical Tweaks and Tactical Effectiveness.

Football Manager 27 kicks off on November 27 for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store) and Mac. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
