Obsidian is releasing a new game this year, and it’s a game we just know exists, in an official capacity, today. At the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase 2022, Pentiment was revealed, a new narrative adventure game directed by Josh Sawyer, Obsidian’s Studio Design Director.
Pentiment has you play as Andreas Maler, a painter that somehow got entangled in a murder mystery. Now you must investigate and in interrogate your way to find the truth.
You can customise Andreas’ background and lifestyle, and it’s up to you to decide how he investigates the mystery. From listening to gossip to digging up dead bodies. And you’ll also be doing some accusations, which will impact the community.
Pentiment will be out sometime this November on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store) Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
