OpTic Is Expanding Its Brand To Southeast Asia, Signs Up Three Content Creators

Looks like the green wall is expanding over to the sea. OpTic Gaming is a US-based esports organisation with active rosters in Call Of Duty, CS:GO, Dota, Overwatch League (via the Houston Outlaws) and more. They are now establishing themselves in Southeast Asia with the signing of three content creators based in this region.

The esports org has a large stable of content creators under their stable already, with personalities streaming games and creating content not necessarily for esports, but more of building and spreading the brand.

The three new content creators from SEA has a combined number of 800,000 followers on social media. They are:

  • Christina Xiaoting “Miao Miao” – gaming personality, full-time streamer and social media influencer
  • “Joseph Germani” – YouTuber, actor and gamer
  • “SparTankeR” – professional shoutcaster and avid streamer

Of a particular note is the Malaysian SparTankeR (left in the featured image), one of the leading talents that grew from the Fundeavour community of content creators. If you follow the Mobile Legends Professional League, he is one of the casting talents for Bahasa Malaysia.

“OpTic has built a passionate global community of personalities, streamers and teams around the world, ” said Romain Bigeard, General Manager for OpTic.

“As esports continues to grow massively in Asia, we are delighted to bring high-quality and personalized content and community events to excite our SEA fans.”

The three, now collectively known as the SEA Stream Team, will start putting out content with a two-hour stream of PUBG on July 23rd, 8PM GMT+8 (Malaysia’s local time). Expect to see the green wall make an even bigger presence in this side of the world in the future.
