One New Track And At Two New Cars Spotted At FIA GT Championship World Final, Coming To Gran Turismo Sport
The first World Finals of the FIA Gran Turismo Championships for Gran Turismo Sport has concluded. The event took place last weekend in the glitzy city of Monaco, famous for the Monaco Grand Prix. Three days of intense racin has crowned Team Lexus the Manufacturer Series champion while the Nations Cup champion title goes to Igor Fraga of Brazil.
And as always, the championship events use an upcoming build of Gran Turismo Sport, featuring new content. The final day of racing in the Nations Cup debuted a new layout of the Tokyo Expressway, South Outer Loop. The track carries the similar characteristics of the available layouts, but now with more long straights, more sharp hairpins and a fast, swooping sector where smooth handling through the fast corners is key.
Also seen is the Ferrari F50. The car has yet to graced the Gran Turismo series so this is an entirely new edition to the game and series.
You can peek at the car and track here, in this race highlights video.
Alongside that, some sharp-eye spectators have spotted another new car. While not shown on stream directly, images of the McLaren P1 GTR were seen.

The new Tokyo Expressway layout will be added in a new update in December. It is yet known whether the F50 and P1 GTR spotted will also added together, but they will definitely coming soon.
Gran Turismo Sport’s last update in November added Catalunya as well as nine new cars, three of them are older Super GT GT500 cars from 2008.
