Omen Challenger Series 2019 CS:GO Tournament Announced, Now With Added Live Concert

Omen Challenger Series is a CS:GO tournament organised by HP’s gaming brand Omen. But the 2019 edition adds another spectacle to the esports event: a live concert.

Omen is partnering up with MTV Asia, which will be adding music and lifestyle elements to the event, including the said live concert at the Grand Finals in Jakarta. MTV Asia will also be producing content relating to gaming with the local celebs for its network.

The Omen Challenger Series 2019 will Taiwan joining the rest of the participating countries in the Asia-Pacific-Japan region. The countries include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, India and China.

It is an open tournament, with online qualifiers, where any team can sign up to compete for a piece of the $50,000 USD prize pool. The winner also gets an all-paid expense trip in Europe “to witness a global esports tournament.”
