The PS5 is getting a Horizon game again this year, but not from PlayStation. Forza Horizon 5, one of the few remaining active Xbox console exclusive games by Xbox Game Studios, will be crossing to the other side this April.
Now we have a release date, mark your calendar for April 29, Horizon (and Forza) fans.
The PS5 version of Forza Horizon 5 will support two graphics options: Performance (prioritise 60 FPS) and Quality (prioritise resolution at 30 FPS).
It will also support PS5 Pro, with Performance mode getting a boost in visual fidelity while Quality adds ray-traced car reflections during Races and Free Roam.
Alongside the PS5 release is one last big update for the game: Horizon Realms. This allows players to go back and revisit the various “evolving worlds” the game has had throughout its live service support.
There are 11 of these, from neon highways during the retrowave month to holiday celebrations. Plus, a new one will be added, Stadium Track, making it 12 realms in total. The full list are as follows:

The Horizon Realms update will also be bringing four new cars, for free, plus four more as a paid DLC pack. The free cars include the off-road going Lambo Huracan, the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato. The Porsche 911 Dakar is also in the game, if you fancy some overlanding with supercars.

The Horizon Realms update goes live on April 25. Forza Horizon 5 will be out on April 29 on PS5. The game is out now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
In other news, developer Playground Games is still working on Fable, though for a lot longer as the game has been recently delayed.
