Nvidia GeForce Now By Yes 5G Now Available In Beta In Malaysia

Yes by YTL Communications has announced the start of the beta test for Nvidia GeForce Now by Yes 5G.

This follows the initial announcement of the Malaysian telco bringing over Nvidia’s cloud gaming tech to the country, and the first to offer such service.

Cloud gaming allows anyone to play games on any device- a low-end PC or mobile device or an Android TV for example- so long as there is sufficient internet coverage. Devices merely stream a video feed of a video game running on cloud servers.

GeForce Now offers over 1,500 titles to stream, as long as you already have the games on PC on the various PC launchers and accounts (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect). No extra purchase necessary, just link the accounts you have and should GeForce Now supports it, you can play it via the cloud.

In the future, games on Xbox will join the GeForce Now library as well.

Plus, over 100 free-to-play games are supported as well including the likes of Fortnite and Genshin Impact.

Existing Yes 5G customers can sign up for the Exclusive Beta for Nvidia GeForce Now here. The beta ends on April 10, and costs RM0 to try, though expect this to be a monthly subscription plan when it becomes live.
